Top notch sump

I recently switched from an emerald 34 to the platinum 34. After modifying the emerald to use with first a klir then a clarisea and then finally a compact roller mat I was never happy with any of them. Once I saw the platinum come out I decided to give it a try. It was the best decision I’ve made for a sump. The fleece works flawlessly the fuge/skimmer section is adjustable which is perfect. No more settling for a skimmer to fit the sump. I have plenty of room to go with many different skimmer options. I’ve been running this set up since 12/15/19 and super happy with it.

Amazing

This sump is next level. The fleece roller filters out a lot of fine particles. I recommend using pink floss when first setting up to save the roll. This for sure if upgrading an existing tank. A new tank maybe not. Anyway forget the socks this thing rocks.

Wow…just wow.

Upgraded to the Triton

Sump is great, fits everything I had in my old sump and better spaced out. My skimmer fits the skimmer section perfectly and return has plenty of room. The refugium size is the best part. There’s enough room for all the micro algae you may need. Then there’s all the extra stuff like adjustable baffles, prob holders, wire holders, and the dosing tube holders! All round a great sump and would recommend to anyone.

This trigger sump is simple and does the job perfectly, it’s made so well. I fit the skimmer in the sock chamber, middle chamber for refugium and last chamber for pumps. It’s nice and clean looking.

Fantastic Build Quality and Great Design!

Purchased this sump for use on a 60g rimless cube with a footprint inside the stand of 22×22. Needless to say, that’s not much room, but this bad boy adds 20g of sump & fuge capacity within a very small footprint! I love the design and flowpath as I can have the skimmer and return sections in the back with the nice wide refugium section in front for easy viewing of all my chaeto, pods and other microfauna. All three chambers are pretty good size and I was able to fit a Bubble Magus Curve 7 skimmer in the intake section with room to spare for my heater and probe holder! Again, great design, sturdy build quality and wonderful service from AquaCave!

Unsurpassed Quality and Design

I recently purchased an Emerald Sump 34 from Trigger Systems and I must say I have never purchased any reef product that is better designed, better constructed or better packaged than this sump. I carefully considered many other sumps and chose this one. The design was thoughtfully considered for ease of use, and ease of monitoring the system and ease of maintenance. EXACTLY what I was looking for

This sump is HIGH QUALITY. Very little adjustment was needed to get the adjustable baffle where I wanted it. The mechanical filtration tray is genius. It’s a shame that I have to hide this thing behind doors. No complaints whatsoever about this sump. Quiet, adjustable, packed to prevent damage, high quality construction.
